Only confirmed, published shifts appear on your calendar. Drafts that your manager has not yet published are not visible to you.
Viewing your schedule
1
Open Schedule
Select Schedule from the navigation bar. You can also open
/calendar directly — it shows the same employee calendar view.2
Navigate between months
Use the previous and next controls to move between months.
3
Select a day
Select any date on the calendar to open the selected-day panel. It shows your confirmed shifts, related time entries, and the total hours for that day.
4
Add time from the schedule
When the Add time entry action is visible in the selected-day panel, you can submit a time entry directly for that date.
- Daily hour totals in each day cell
- Monthly hour total in the month header
- Approved time off blocks when they have been reviewed and confirmed
- Schedule, Marketplace, and Requests tabs so your personal shifts, coverage opportunities, and request history stay organized separately
Requesting time off
Time off requests are submitted from your Profile > Schedule section.1
Open Profile
Select My Profile from the navigation, then choose Schedule from the side panel.
2
Select Request
Select Request when the action is visible. If it does not appear, time-off requests may not be enabled for your profile — ask your manager.
3
Fill in the details
Enter the date range, hours, reason, and any other required information.
4
Submit the request
Send the request. It moves to a pending state and goes to your manager for review.
5
Track the status
Check Schedule > Requests or the Dashboard request history to follow the status.
Approved time off appears as a block on your schedule calendar after your manager accepts the request. Your leave balances update at the same time when the request type is counted toward leave.
The shift marketplace
The Marketplace tab shows open coverage requests from coworkers — shifts they need help covering. You can offer to take a shift, and your manager reviews the offer before the schedule changes.Marketplace access is controlled by your organization. If the Marketplace tab is not visible, coverage access may not be enabled for your profile.
1
Open the Marketplace tab
Select Schedule, then choose the Marketplace tab.
2
Review open requests
Each open request shows the shift title, time, location (when available), and any note from the coworker.
3
Offer coverage
Select Offer coverage when you can help. Yrka checks whether the offer is safe — for example, whether it overlaps with your own approved time off or schedule — before sending it for review.
4
Track your offer
Open the Requests tab to see the status of your offer. It stays as Offered until your manager approves or denies it.
Requesting coverage for your own shift

Only a manager can approve coverage changes. You can request coverage, but you cannot approve your own request.
My offline request is still queued
My offline request is still queued
Offline coverage requests for your own shift can queue and sync when you reconnect. Wait for sync before sending a duplicate request. Note that offering coverage for a coworker’s open request is online-only and will not queue.
