Your Profile is your self-service workspace in Yrka. It shows your personal information, work history, payroll context, schedule, and documents — all in one place. From Profile you can also submit requests to change your details, update credentials, and manage your availability or time off. The sections you can see and the actions available to you depend on what your organization has enabled for your profile.
Your organization controls which profile sections are visible to you. If a section is missing, it may not be enabled for your account. Ask your manager or admin if you need access to a section you do not see.

Sections on your profile

Open My Profile from the navigation and use the side panel to switch between sections.
Your basic profile information: name, contact details, address, and emergency contacts. When detail change requests are enabled, you can use the Edit button in the header to submit updates for admin review.
Visible licenses, certifications, insurance, and employee documents. When document or credential write access is enabled, you can upload or replace files from this section. Confidential documents remain protected and require a specific signed-open path.
Read-only payroll preparation context: current-period earned pay, leave balances, paystub context, and payroll snapshot history — when your organization has enabled payroll visibility. Use Time Entry to correct time entries, not this section.
Your confirmed assigned schedule events. When time-off or availability request access is enabled, you can submit requests from this section. See requesting time off and availability below.
Jobs assigned to you, including relevant history from recent time entries and schedule assignments.
Your department, team, job role, and reporting context, where your organization has configured it.
Shared operational reviews when your organization has enabled them. You can acknowledge reviews when the acknowledgement control appears.
A record of profile changes, document requests, credential updates, and organization-structure changes that are visible to you.
If profile access is turned off for your account entirely, /profile shows a disabled-access message instead of your information. Ask your manager or admin to enable employee profile access.

Requesting profile detail changes

When detail change requests are enabled, you can submit updates to your personal information through the Edit modal. Changes go to an admin for review before they take effect.
1

Open My Profile

Navigate to My Profile and open the Details section.
2

Select Edit

Select the Edit button in the profile header. If the button is not visible, detail change requests may not be enabled for your profile.
3

Review current values and make changes

The Edit modal shows your current information. Update only the fields that need to change.
4

Submit the request

Send the change request. It moves to a Pending review state.
5

Wait for admin review

An admin reviews the change before it is applied to your profile. You can check the status in Lifecycle & History.
Submitting a detail change request does not update your profile immediately. The change is applied only after an admin approves it.

Submitting credential and document updates

When document or credential write access is enabled, you can upload or replace files in the Credentials & Documents section.
1

Open Credentials & Documents

Navigate to My Profile and select the Credentials & Documents section.
2

Find the credential or document

Locate the item you need to update. Check its expiration date and current status.
3

Upload or replace the file

Use the upload or replace control when it is visible. Document uploads are online-only.
4

Review the submission status

After submitting, the credential or document shows a pending or submitted status until an admin reviews it.

Requesting time off and availability

You can submit time off and availability requests from Profile > Schedule when those access settings are enabled.
1

Open Profile > Schedule

Navigate to My Profile and select Schedule from the side panel.
2

Select Availability or Request

  • Select Availability to update your available working windows
  • Select Request to submit a time-off request
3

Fill in the required information

Add the date, hours, reason, or coverage context depending on what the form asks for.
4

Submit

Send the request. It moves to pending and appears in your schedule request history.
5

Track the status

Watch Profile, Schedule, and Dashboard for status updates. Approved time off appears on your schedule calendar after manager review.
Time-off and availability request access can be enabled independently. You may have one but not the other, depending on your organization’s settings.

Viewing payroll and timecard context

When payroll visibility is enabled, the Payroll section shows a read-only view of your current payroll period.
1

Open Profile > Payroll

Navigate to My Profile and select Payroll from the side panel.
2

Review the summary

Check your current payroll context, time entries for the period, leave balances, and any visible paystub or snapshot rows.
3

Correct time entries from Time Entry

If you see an error in your time entries, go to Time Entry to submit a correction request. The Payroll section is read-only.
Payroll context in Profile is for review only. Yrka supports payroll preparation — it does not process payroll, file taxes, or provide wage or legal compliance advice.

Common issues

Profile detail change requests may not be enabled for your profile. Ask your manager or admin to enable this access if you need to update your information.
The upload control may be absent because the request is read-only, closed, or requires a network connection. Document uploads are online-only.
Payroll visibility depends on your organization’s settings. Ask your manager if you expect payroll context to be available.
Your organization may handle those requests outside employee self-service, or those access settings may not be enabled for your profile.
