# View your work schedule and manage time off

> Use the Yrka Schedule tab and calendar to view confirmed shifts, request time off, offer or request coverage, and track the status of your schedule requests.

The Schedule tab shows your confirmed work assignments in a monthly calendar view. You can see your shifts, the hours you have logged for each day, and the total for the month. From Schedule you can also request time off, ask for coverage on a shift you cannot work, and offer to cover an open shift for a coworker.

<Note>
  Only confirmed, published shifts appear on your calendar. Drafts that your manager has not yet published are not visible to you.
</Note>

## Understanding request statuses

| Status           | What it means                                       |
| ---------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Open | Available for coworkers to offer help |
| Pending approval | Waiting for manager review |
| Offered | You offered to help; manager still needs to approve |
| Approved | Manager accepted the change; schedule updates |
| Denied | Request or offer was not accepted |
| Canceled | Request is no longer active |
| Unavailable | Action is not enabled for your profile or shift |

<Warning>
  Coverage offers and requests do not change your schedule until a manager reviews and approves them. Do not assume a shift is covered until you see the Approved status.
